The Information We Collect

At this site, our ordering process is manual, i.e. you must send us an email with the stock number of the item you are interested in and your zip code, so we can figure shipping costs. We do not require your name, address, phone number or other personally identifiable information until after you confirm an order. We accept credit cards via our secure order form, in which we do not have access to your credit card information, or by telephone, in which case we take down your credit card information for the purposes of charging your order only. We ask that you please do not send your credit card information through email, as that is not secure. We keep your credit card info until after your order is received, at which point we delete it. If you are a returning customer, you will need to provide your info again when you order.

We currently do not collect any non-personally identifiable information at this time, such as the type of browser you are using (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system you are using, (e.g., Windows or Mac) or the domain name of your Internet service provider (e.g., AOL, Compuserve).

How We Use Your Information

We will use the information you provide about yourself to fulfill your orders for our products, and do keep your name, address, order, email address and any other information you provide in our accounting system. We do not currently have mailing lists or other automated marketing tools, so we do not send informational mailings about sales or other products you might be interested in unless you specifically request it. We do not send unsolicited email or snail mail.

We may disclose personally identifiable information in response to legal process, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. We also may disclose such information in response to a law enforcement agency's request.

No one has access to your information here at AndHow! Antique Telephones except for the owner, Howard Fease, and his wife and assistant, Andrea Fease. We both use your information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Notice by, for example, not using your information for any purpose other than to fill orders and for customer satisfaction.

Although we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personally identifiable information that we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Notice, although all possible steps will be taken to avoid this.

Collection of Information by Third-Party Sites and Sponsors

We do not disclose or sell any personally identifiable information to any third-party companies.

If you wish to pay by credit card, you will deal with our merchant account provider, LinkPoint, unless you order over the phone. LinkPoint will not send us any information about you except for when you complete a transaction, in that case we will have access to your name, address, amount paid and any note that you personally write. We will never see your credit card number, expiration date or CSV if applicable if you order through our secure order form; if you order by phone we will of course need this info to process your order.

Our site contains links to other sites whose information practices may be different than ours. Visitors should consult the other sites' privacy notices as we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.

Cookies

Our current implementation does not use "cookies". Cookies are text files that are placed in your computer's browser to store your preferences. In the future, we may decide to use cookies and, at such time, this notice will be changed to reflect this.

When and if we do use cookies, these cookies, by themselves, will not tell us your e-mail address or other personally identifiable information, unless you choose to provide this information to us by, for example, registering at our site. However, once you chose to furnish our site with personally identifiable information, this information would be linked to the data stored in the cookie.

We would use cookies to understand site usage and to improve the content and offerings on our sites.
